Logic Café has now reached 1000 facebook fans, and to show thanks for all your support we’ve created a MIDI Rack environment macro free for a limited time period for you to download and use in your tracks.
The Logic Café MR1K is an extremely powerful MIDI environment containing a chord machine, arpeggiator and 8-step sequencer. It will work with any MIDI controllable synth including virtual instruments and external synthesizers. It also records patterns and chords straight into your arrange page.
The MR1K sits in the signal path between incoming MIDI note messages and the sequencer in Logic Pro. This means that once set up, the MR1K adds functionality to all of your MIDI enabled studio and virtual synths in an easy to use interface enabling you to build and record chords, basslines and arpeggios in minutes.

The MR1K has four sections. The first is the power section and selects which part of the MR1K you are using.
The second section isthe chord machine. To use the chord machine, enable it in the power section. Once this is done, activate each additional voice by clicking on the green buttons and adjust the pitch using the rotary encoder. You can play chordsby pressing single keys on your MIDI controller or by using the caps lock keyboard.
The third section isthe arpeggiator. In this section you can adjust the Length, resolution, octaveand direction of the notes to be arpeggiated. The arpeggiator can be triggered in line with the chord machine or as a stand alone device.
The final section ofthe MR1K is the 8 step sequencer. To use this, make sure it is selected in the power section. Then simply turn on the metronome on your transport and adjustthe faders to create a groove. The Sequencer is MIDI responsive, so you change the pitch of the groove on the fly by pressing notes on your MIDI controller. You can enable or disable steps by clicking them on or off below each fader.
Thanks again for yourcontinued support and feedback and we’ll keep producing resources for you to use in your Logic Pro tracks.
