Get tips on how to streamline your Logic Pro audio projects Music Production Guru Danny J Lewis.
In this video Danny J. Lewis explores methods within Logic Pro of achieving more space efficient Logic Pro audio projects.
Whether you are transferring re-mix project stems to another computer, submitting tracks for mixdown or simply trying to work a more efficient use of your hard drive space, cleaning up audio projects has many benefits as well as the obvious. What visually appears to be 'dead' audio space may in fact contain harmful frequencies and harmonics which can in turn adversely affect your mix. This is especially true of microphone recordings, where the ambiance of the vocal booth can soon add up with layered vocals to create an underlying hum at often un-audiable frequencies which can easily muddy up a bass part or damage your stereo field.
Danny J. Lewis is an established recording artist and reached high acclaim with his single 'Spend The Night', which hit club chart at No.1 and the national Top 30. Danny's music has been supported by the likes of Masters at Work, Gilles Peterson, David Morales, Kenny Carpenter, Todd Edwards, Todd Terry, and Danny Rampling and more. He's recorded for Defected, Ministry Of Sound, Afroart Records, XL Recordings and others. Danny is currently signed to 4th Floor/Defected Records and runs his own record label, Enzyme Black Recordings.
Danny has also developed an impressive career as a Music Production educator, playing a lead role in the quality and success at Point Blank London and pioneering new approaches to music tech education in online education.
