Download a selection of drum hits from the quirky Korg DDD-1 drum machine to use in your Logic Pro or Logic Express songs. The hits have been mapped out chromatically on a MIDI keyboard starting from note C1 and all are pitch accurate.
Making its first appearance in 1986, the Korg DDD-1 drum machine soon made an impact on the recording industry. The first drum machine to feature velocity sensitive drum pads, the DDD-1 came packed with good quality drum sounds and incredible programmability features giving the machine a place in many professional recording and production studios. Although the factory drum hits were not the most inspirational of sounds, the DDD-1 came with advanced expandability options using the optional ROM sound cards and Ram card available from Korg. Up to four ROM cards could be used simultaneously and the RAM card transformed the machine into a 12-bit sampler.
The DDD-1 retailed at around $1000 dollars (US) when released in 1986 and can be picked up today for as little as £35 (GBP) on ebay!
