Classic 80's Oberheim DX Drum Machine Grooves

Bring that classic 80's feel in your music with these custom Groove Quantizes. The quantizes included are 1/8th note, 1/12th note, 1/16th note, 1/24th note, 1/32 note and 1/48 note quantizes with swing values from 50% through to 95%. All quantizes and swing variations are as made available by the actual machine. Percentage of swing values vary from quantize to quantize, with more variations available for lower Q's (1/8 note) than the higher Q's (1/48 note).

Logic Café brings to you the Swings of the Oberheim DX Drum Machine as groove quantizes to be used in Logic Pro. Use these groove templates with the Oberheim DX EXS24 and EXSP24 sampler instrument available here at Logic Cafe for a complete Oberheim DX drum machine experience.

To add the groove quantizes to your Logic Pro setup, click on the link to download the file containing the grooves. Open the download and copy the Oberheim DX templates into your song / autoload then follow the Create your own Groove Quantizes lesson here at Logic café.

The Oberheim DX was scaled down version of the legendary Oberheim DMX and was identical other than the DX had 18 drum sounds compared with the DMX which boasted 24.
