Learn how to quickly convert your audio loops in the arrange page into a sliced EXS24 sampler track to enable MIDI editing, tempo changes and loop variation in this lesson here at Logic Cafe.
This lesson uses Logic Pro's transient detection engine to quickly create a sampler track with individual hits or samples allocated to MIDI notes which can be played back or sequenced from the EXS24 in the piano roll.
Note: The audio file used in the lesson is Modern Rock Drums 1, taken from the Apple Loops library shipped with Logic Pro 9. This enables you to mimic the session before trying it out on your own audio files if you so wish.

In the arrange window, click on the audio object you wish to edit in this session.
